About the project

We are upgrading and expanding Milleara Gardens Kindergarten. We will demolish the existing kindergarten. This will make way for a new 3-room kindergarten with 2 maternal and child health consulting suites. We will build the new kinder using modular construction. The service will be able to offer kinder to 99 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

Funding

This project will be delivered by the Victorian School Building Authority as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Moonee Valley City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $20.74 million to support 5 projects that will create up to 523 additional kindergarten places in the local government area.
