About the project

We upgraded the indoor and outdoor areas to make them more accessible to children, staff and carers of all abilities. Inside, we widened 2 doorways and levelled the floorspaces. Outside, we replaced steps from the undercover area with 2 access ramps. We renovated the sandpit with a wheelchair-friendly “beach entry” and added a shade structure so more children can play and access the space.

In the 2021–22 Building Blocks Inclusion Grants, $118,600 was allocated to this project.
