About the project

We're building a kindergarten at Neerim South Primary School. It will open in early 2028 and have 2 kindergarten rooms.

Having the school and kindergarten together may help some families with drop-off and pick-up. It may also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.

Enrolment

Y Kinders has been appointed to run this kindergarten. They will manage all enrolment and program enquiries via this website. 

Funding

In the 2024–25 State Budget, this project shared in $1.3 billion allocated to build around 100 new kindergartens to support the Best Start, Best Life reforms.
