About the project

This school will benefit from Victoria’s largest ever single investment in upgrading specialist schools, with 39 sharing $388.8 million. With the funding, we are continuing to upgrade and modernise this school, delivering the next stage of the school's master plan.

About the project

We are modernising the school to give students better learning opportunities. In this significant upgrade, we will deliver the final stage of the masterplan for the Illinois Avenue Campus.

About the project

We upgraded Nelson Park Primary School, including building new learning and play areas.

We created a Year 3–6 learning community hub in Building B, as well as updated change areas and the corridor adjacent to the gymnasium.

We also modernised the canteen and home craft area, creating private office spaces for administration staff and undertaking minor works to provide better localised and accessible storage, particularly for secure records.

Funding

In the 2016–17 State Budget, $2.8 million has been allocated to the school.
