About the project
We're building a new P–9 school in Werribee South. It opened in 2026, helping the growing local population get great education close to home.
Sadia Toqeer was appointed the first principal of the school.
The school was known by its interim name, Point Cook South P–9, during planning and design. Yurran P–9 College was chosen as this new school’s name following community and Traditional Owner group consultation. Yurran (pronounced YOO-ran) is a Boonwurrung language word meaning sugar glider.
For enrolment enquiries or to learn more about the school, please visit the school's website or email yurran.p9.co@education.vic.gov.au.
Facilities
