About the project

We helped Frankston City Council upgrade Seaford Kindergarten. The existing building was demolished and replaced with a new building. It has 2 kinder rooms, maternal child health facilities, a dedicated youth space and community spaces.

The new centre can offer kinder to up to 66 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.

It was known as Seaford Child and Family Centre during construction.

Funding

This project received up to $4.5 million as part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Frankston City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $15.45 million to support 3 projects that will create more kindergarten places in the local government area.

Funding type
