About the project

We are upgrading and expanding St Albans West Kindergarten. We will build a new modular kindergarten with 2 kinder rooms.

The service will be able to offer kinder to up to 66 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading sessions throughout the week.

Once complete, the new building will replace the existing kindergarten at the corner of Andrew and Stevens Road, St Albans.

Funding

This project will be delivered by the Victorian School Building Authority. It is part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the Victorian Government and Brimbank City Council. The Victorian Government has provided up to $19.74 million to the local government area through this partnership. This investment is supporting 6 projects. These projects will create up to 649 more kindergarten places in the local government area.
