About the project

We built a 2-room modular kindergarten in partnership with Brimbank City Council. It provides 66 kindergarten places for the local community and will be used while the council develops the Dempster Park Children’s and Community Centre. This will replace the Sunshine North Kindergarten and Phoenix Street Children’s Centre. 

The kindergarten includes an outdoor play space, and one maternal and child health consulting room.

Funding

This project is part of the Building Blocks Partnership between the State Government and Brimbank City Council. The Victorian Government has provided $13.35 million in funding to support 6 projects that will deliver 448 new kindergarten places in the local government area.
