About the project
We upgraded and expanded the school, allowing it to enrol an extra 125 local students. This included:
- building a new state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) facility
- refurbishing and upgrading the library and administration area and the toilet block
- external landscaping works.
Funding
From the 2020–21 Infrastructure Planning and Acceleration fund, the school was allocated $1.448 million in planning funding.
In the 2020–21 State Budget, the school received at least $11.729 million from a pool of more than $85 million to expand seven schools in high-growth areas.
