About the project
We helped upgrade the outdoor playspace. Now it is more inclusive for children of all ages and abilities.
The centre built a multifunctional gathering space for group learning and connection. The preschool's timber structures and cubby were updated. New soft-fall rubber and synthetic grass were installed. A new, larger pergola was built to extend the outdoor classroom.
In addition to this, crawl tunnels, log steppers, talking tubes, a mud kitchen, and a water-play creek bed with a pump station were installed. The centre also added quiet retreats for children.
Funding
In the 2025–26 Building Blocks Inclusion Grant – Buildings and Playgrounds Stream, $181,769 was allocated to this project.
