About the project
We're helping upgrade the outdoor playspace. The works will make it more inclusive for children of all ages and abilities.
The centre will build a multifunctional gathering space for group learning and connection. The preschool's timber structures and cubby will be updated. New soft-fall rubber and synthetic grass will be installed. They'll also build a new, larger pergola that will extend the outdoor classroom.
In addition to this, crawl tunnels, log steppers, talking tubes, a mud kitchen, and a water-play creek bed with a pump station will be installed. The centre will also add quiet retreats for children.
Funding
In the 2025–26 Building Blocks Inclusion Grant – Buildings and Playgrounds Stream, $181,769 was allocated to this project.
