About the project

We're building a secondary school with a co-located specialist campus. It will open in 2028.

The school will have places for up to 550 secondary students. The specialist campus will have places for up to 128 eligible students with disability.

This school will help meet increasing enrolment demand from a growing local population. It will ease pressure on surrounding schools. This will help local students get high-quality education close to home.

Wollahra Secondary School (interim name) will include:

an administration and library building, shared with the specialist campus
a learning neighbourhood
a science and technology building
a community hub with spaces for music, drama, food technology, a gymnasium and canteen
2 hard courts
a sports field
landscaping.

The co-located specialist campus will include:

2 learning neighbourhoods
a community hub with space for performing arts, music, media, fitness and food technology
landscaping.

Funding

In the 2026–27 State Budget, this school received a share of $419.6 million allocated for new schools construction.
