About the project

We partnered with the centre to upgrade the playground and outdoor learning spaces.

They created more shaded areas, child-friendly seating, an Indigenous garden, a yarning circle, and a sensory river pebble bed. This helps children connect to the land, culture, and the ecosystem.

They also added a soft fall surface and synthetic turf. It will give children of all abilities new ways to socialise, develop and learn through play.

In the 2023–24 Building Blocks Improvement Grants, $94,089 was allocated to this project.
