Once complete, the school will include:

- administration areas and a library
- learning neighbourhoods
- design, arts, technology and science spaces
- staff spaces
- a community hub with indoor multi-use gymnasium and canteen, as well as spaces for:
- drama
- music
- food technology
- an oval and playing field
- 4 outdoor hardcourts
- outdoor play spaces for different age groups
- 2 carparks
- a kindergarten (opening in 2027).
We are building this school in stages.
Yurran P–9 College will initially share the Ngurraga School site, although the schools will operate independently.
The P–9 school will have access to:
- a learning neighbourhood
- an administration and library building including a first aid room and staff spaces
- playgrounds and shaded areas
- a half-court hardcourt
- a shared multi-purpose building with dedicated spaces for physical activity and fitness, performing arts, food technology and a canteen.
We expect to complete the Yurran P–9 College school for Term 3, 2027.
Enrolments for 2026 are open
The school is open for enrolments for students in Foundation (Prep) to Year 5. When the school is complete, it will be able to enrol up to 1,250 students from Foundation to Year 9 (650 primary and 600 secondary).
All students who live in the school zone are guaranteed a place at the new school (for the 2026 school year, this applies to students in Foundation to Year 5). Students who live outside the school zone can apply for enrolment and the school will enrol them in line with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy.
You can find out if you're in the school zone by entering your address at findmyschool.vic.gov.au (select 2026 as the enrolment year).
For enrolment enquiries, please continue to email point.cook.south.p9@education.vic.gov.au until the new school email is assigned. Learn more about enrolling in Foundation.
Your new school name
