We’re building kindergartens on-site or next door to new schools. We're also planning and building new kindergartens at existing government schools.

Building kindergartens at or next to schools provides many benefits for Victorian families, including making:

  • kindergarten programs easier to access
  • drop-off time simpler and more convenient for some families
  • the transition from kindergarten to school smoother for children.

Having kindergartens and schools together can sometimes be used to create a hub for offering health and other services that benefit the wider community. The needs of each area will be different, so we work closely with local government to plan new kindergartens − ensuring the best educational outcomes for children and broader benefits for their families

Where will these new kindergartens be?

Some new schools already have existing kindergartens next door. We're making sure there are new kindergartens at, or next to, the following new school and campuses where that isn't the case.
