We’re building a new primary school in Wollert. It will open day one of Term 1 in 2025 and help the growing local population get great education close to home.

The school will open for enrolments for students in Prep to Grade 6. It will be able to enrol up to 525 students when the school is complete. You can find out if you're in the school enrolment zone by entering your address at findmyschool.vic.gov.au.

Rebecca Spink has been appointed principal of Wollert Central Primary School. Her career spans over 16 years and includes several leadership roles. She is a dedicated leader, committed to the wellbeing of students and staff. Bec looks forward to building an engaging learning environment that prepares students for future challenges.

When completed, the school will include:

• an administration building
• a learning neighbourhood
• a community hub
• hardcourts
• a carpark
• a sports field
• a kindergarten.

The community will be able to help choose the new school’s name via the Engage Victoria website. Following consultation, the Minister for Education will make the final decision on the school’s name which is expected to be by early Term 3, 2024.
